solution is the AVG DataCenter, a database

are issued whenever a major new virus is detected on
the Internet. AVG Network Edition comes with a two
year licence. The number of licences is determined
by the total of network workstations and file
servers combined.

Professional Single Edition provides anti-virus
protection on a single client PC or workstation. A
combination of detection methods (heuristic
analysis, generic detection, scanning and integrity
checking) ensure customers receive the maximum
possible protection. In addition, users have a
choice of basic or advanced interfaces - the latter
allows the user to define new tests. This edition
comes with automatic email scanning, high-speed
updates, and 24/7/365 technical support. It is
available in seven languages.
This
edition is designed for home or small business
networks that have no requirement for a centralised
administration and updating capability. Updates are
requested over the Internet, usually via a broadband
connection. AVG Professional Single Edition and AVG
SoHo Edition are suitable for the following
platforms: Windows 95, 98, Me, NT4, 2000, XP and
Linux i386.
