Work and play hard throughout the day, then sleep deeply and be rejuvenated upon waking up. Perhaps with age you have become like many other people, continuously feeling fatigued and listless. It can suggest you are too fatigued to enjoy time with your kids and you miss out on activities because you do not feel you have the energy to take part.
If being exhausted is impacting your life, the advice that follows may turn things around for you. Its also wise to record the foods you eat and your energy levels, because usually food can be the cause of the problem. Ongoing fatigue in some cases points to gluten intolerance, and to fix this requires a significant dietary adjustment.
It can of course just be a generally unhealthy diet that causes you to feel fatigued constantly and so a few changes here can make a huge difference.
If you are obese, this will impact on your energy levels, so you need to commit to more healthy eating on a day to day basis. Children are ceaselessly energetic at least partly because they are always in motion and having fun. As people age they usually become less active overall, and sometimes you even see them lounging around, just relaxing, being inactive.
Changing this habit and moving more, say by going for a stroll around the garden, or on the beach, could possibly relieve feelings of lethargy. You are certain to encounter internal resistance, since you are feeling fatigued after all, but shaking this off and getting some exercise may be just what is necessary to get you feeling able and willing once again. An option worth considering is enrolling in a fitness class there are classes for all age groups and you may even meet some new friends. An undue amount of stress in your life will leech your energy and could show itself as fatigue even after a nights sleep.
